This is a vintage glass box from the Cambridge Glass Company, part of their Caprice pattern produced between 19361958. Originally made as a cigarette box, it features distinctive fish or "dolphin" feet and a swirl design on all sides.
This piece measures approximately 3.5" x 2.75" x 1.75" and weighs about 67 oz before packaging. It is missing its lid but makes a perfect trinket dish, vanity box, or ring holder. The base has some rough areas, likely from age or mold marks. No chips or cracks noted.
A beautiful example of Depression-era elegant glass, with vintage charm and function.
