Nice Estate Sale Find of Poster reprints "Hommage" to 3 of the most celebrated Artists from 1990 Polish Designer T Mieczyslaw Gorowski - Picasso, Vincent, Chagall. A RARE find to have these in one frame, and will be a conversation piece for sure. Each Postcard Sized 8" x 6.5" reprint attached and framed that measures 21" x 10" I was able find the Vincent Van Gogh in research, and dated 1990, but the other two are hard to find anything on them. I assume they were created around the same time frame.
T Mieczyslaw Gorowski had been a professor at Cracow's Academy of Fine Arts since 1966. He worked in the mediums of poster design, applied design, interior design, and painting until his passing in 2011.
These posters showcase Górowski's skill and creativity in capturing the essence of his inspirations. His hommage posters are a testament to his admiration for these artistic giants and his ability to interpret their styles in his own unique way.
